How a carpentry & property maintenance business went from no web presence to a site that actually brings in work.
Strawbridge Property is a carpentry and property refurbishment & maintenance business based on the Isle of Sheppey. Like a lot of trades businesses, the work spoke for itself — but there was nowhere online for a new enquiry to actually see that. No site meant no way to build trust with someone before they picked up the phone, and nothing to point to when word-of-mouth referrals wanted "a link to check them out."
A bespoke, single-page site designed around the craftsmanship itself: a striking animated entrance, image-led sections showing real work rather than stock photography, and clean navigation that gets a visitor from "who are these people" to "get in touch" without friction. It's fast, mobile-first, and built without a page-builder or template — every section was designed specifically for this business, not adapted from something generic.
As the freelance developer behind it, I handled the whole process myself — design, build and launch — working directly with Strawbridge Property rather than through layers of an agency. That's typically what makes a project like this achievable at a fraction of agency pricing.
"I loved working with JSdigital. they helped me out a lot and ended up making me more money then i wouldve ever expected to come from a website. Thank you JSdigital."
The site is live at strawbridgecarpentry.netlify.app — you can also scroll through a live preview of it on the homepage.
